Within the framework of the strategy of the Egyptian electricity sector to diversify the sources of electric power production, it started the procedures for the implementation of the first nuclear power plant project at Dabaa site in Matrouh Governorate.
Since this advanced technology is new to us and the desire of our country to rely and benefit from the Egyptian labor and the energy of its youth, it decided to prepare human cadres that have the ability, skill, science and knowledge to enable them to contribute to the expansion and benefit from peaceful nuclear energy applications.
In view of the need to work side by side with the majority of the country's sectors, the most important of which is the Ministry of Technical Education and Training, the Ministry must qualify the national cadres to deal with this important variable, and to assign the Ministry of Technical Education and Training and the Nuclear Stations Authority to build these cadres to accommodate nuclear technology with different technical specialties.
On 9/7/2015, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Ministry of Technical Education and Training and the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy represented by the Nuclear Power Plants Authority.
Information about the Protocol
